Woolamai Beach & Phillip Island Tourist Road Intersection Upgrade

Motorists on Phillip Island will benefit under a re-elected Turnbull Coalition Government with $275,000 for the construction of a new roundabout in Cape Woolamai.
“Phillip Island residents have long been concerned with the state of this intersection, which provides a crucial link for residents and tourists to Cape Woolamai,” Mr Hunt said.
“Upgrades to the Woolamai Beach and Phillip Island Tourist Road intersection will ensure motorists, pedestrians and cyclists enjoy safer trips on our roads.”

The intersection has been identified by VicRoads as a priority for the greater Phillip Island region. Bass Coast Shire Council has also strongly advocated for the improvement
of this road black spot.
