Sorrento Portsea Artists Trail Frank SouthFlinders is an area that has always been special to Greg.

Greg was born and grew up in the Flinders Electorate and is proud to call it home.

By working together, Greg believes we can build a stronger and healthier community.

Greg will continue to fight for better facilities and services in the electorate.

Together we have achieved

  • $8 million for Trade Skills Centres for Western Port, Phillip Island and the Southern Peninsula (across two sites, Somerville and Rosebud)
  • $6.5 million for a Health and Medical Hub on Phillip Island - $2.5 million Coalition Government investment
  • The Hastings model housing development  for people with physical and intellectual disabilities
  • $64,000 for a new building for Abacus Learning Centre for children with Autism, assisting families across Mornington Peninsula and Western Port
  • $500 million investment to secure the long-term future of HMAS Cerberus in Crib Point
  • $25,000 to establish the Kilcunda Whale trail
  • $250,000 for the Dolphin Research Institute in Hastings
  • $400,000 in funding for the Clean Ocean Foundation for a National Outfall Database
  • A nurse practitioner and 24-hour ambulance sub-station for Grantville
  • Natural gas for Lang Lang
  • Truck bypass for Koo Wee Rup
  • Green Army projects protecting and rehabilitating vegetation and habitats across the Mornington Peninsula, Western Port, Bass Coast and Phillip Island
  • More doctors for Koo Wee Rup, Lang Lang, Blind Bight, Cannons Creek, Tooradin, Warneet, Botanic Ridge, Clyde, Cranbourne South, Junction Village and Pearcedale

What we will continue to fight for:

On the Southern Mornington Peninsula:

  • Upgrade of Rosebud Hospital to a 150 bed facility for the Southern Peninsula
  • Upgrades to dangerous Mount Martha intersection at Nepean Highway and Forest Drive
  • Improved pedestrian safety at Jetty Road and Mornington Peninsula Freeway intersection in Rosebud
  • An Aquatic Centre in Rosebud for the Southern Peninsula
  • A Headspace facility to bring youth mental health services to the Southern Peninsula
  • A new facility for the Mount Martha Junior Soccer Club
  • A new track for Mornington Little Athletics to support junior athletes on the Mornington Peninsula
  • Fire protection plans for Rye, Blairgowrie and Sorrento
  • Timely completion of the NBN rollout and mobile blackspot upgrades for residents and businesses across the Mornington Peninsula
  • Preservation and rehabilitation of wildlife corridors and creek banks across the Mornington Peninsula through Green Army and Landcare projects
  • Upgrades to the Dromana pier

Red Hill and Balnarring to Flinders:

  • Safety upgrades to local roads in Cape Schanck, Flinders, Shoreham, Point Leo, Arthurs Seat, Red Hill, Balnarring and Somers
  • The protection of the unique coastal village character of towns from Somers through to Flinders
  • The preservation of bushland reserves and corridors in Western Port, Merricks, Red Hill and Main Ridge
  • The rehabilitation of Merricks Creek Estuary alongside the community and the State Government
  • Timely completion of the NBN rollout and mobile blackspot upgrades for residents and businesses across the Western Port region  
  • The promotion and expansion of eco-tourism in the food and wine industry throughout Western Port  and the Hinterland
  • Upgrades to the intersection of Frankston-Flinders Road and Balnarring Road in Balnarring

Somerville, Hastings, Western Port and French Island:

  • The Somerville Police Station to be manned 24-hours, also serving Baxter
  • Graffiti removal throughout Baxter, Tyabb, Hastings, Crib Point, Bittern  and Somerville
  • Upgrades to dangerous intersections across Moorooduc, Somerville, Baxter, Tyabb, Hastings, and Bittern
  • Road safety improvements along Coolart Road
  • Improved ferry services to and from French Island
  • Greater funding for road maintenance on French Island
  • The protection of Tyabb from inappropriate development
  • Upgrades to the intersection of Disney Street and Stony Point Road in Crib Point
  • The protection of Moorooduc’s rural landscape
  • Timely completion of the NBN rollout and mobile blackspot upgrades for residents and businesses across the Western Port region  

Casey and Cardinia:

  • The Somerville Police Station to be manned 24-hours, also serving and Pearcedale
  • Road safety upgrades to dangerous intersections in Pearcedale, Koo Wee Rup, Lang Lang and surrounding areas
  • Timely completion of the NBN rollout and mobile blackspot upgrades for residents in Pearcedale, Koo Wee Rup, Cranbourne South and the Coastal Villages
  • Natural gas for Koo Wee Rup, Blind Bight, Cannons Creek, Warneet and Tooradin
  • Improved recreational facilities for Catani and Koo Wee Rup
  • Preservation of the unique character of Devon Meadows and the Coastal Villages

Phillip Island and the Bass Coast:

  • Completion of the $6.5 million medical hub for Phillip Island and the Bass Coast
  • The Coronet causeway boat ramp to be reopened
  • Road safety upgrades in Pioneer Bay, Glen Forbes, Archies Creek, Tooradin and Junction Village
  • Completion of the children’s centre at Bass Valley to service Corinella, Grantville, Coronet Bay, Bass and San Remo
  • The conservation of bushland reserves, corridors and the coastal habitat of San Remo, Phillip Island and the Bass Coast through Green Army and Landcare projects
  • A new state secondary college to service San Remo, Phillip Island, Corinella, Coronet Bay and Grantville
  • An aquatic centre for Phillip Island and the Bass Coast
  • Timely completion of the NBN rollout and mobile blackspot upgrades for residents across the Bass Coast region
  • Road safety improvements on Phillip Island
  • Natural gas for Phillip Island and the Bass Coast
