The Rudd Labor Government is turning a blind eye to whaling and reneging on their election promise to send a ship to monitor Japanese whaling.
Today they announced that Australia will send a whale research vessel to the Southern Ocean which along with a customs vessel on routine patrol means there will be two vessels in the Southern Ocean but neither vessel will be in the vicinity of the Japanese whalers and neither vessel will monitor and record the unnecessary slaughter of whales by the Japanese.
This Government is not serious about its 2007 election promise to capture the evidence of Japanese whaling for the world to see.
They have proven yet again that they are all talk and no action.
