Senior residents on the Mornington Peninsula will now have an easier way to find and contact local services, thanks to the Flinders 2020 Seniors Guide.
The Guide, delivered for free by the Federal Member for Flinders, the Hon. Greg Hunt MP, provides the contact details for local emergency services, community groups, government services and senior activity groups, as well as a community survey.
Minister Hunt said he hoped the guide would assist local seniors make the most of life on the Peninsula.
“Our local community depends on the wisdom and experience that seniors positively contribute each and every day,” Mr Hunt said.
“Whether local seniors want to get more active, get more involved in the community, or want to know how to contact government services, this guide provides the information necessary.”
“We have so many incredible community groups and services on the Peninsula and I hope that is guide is of assistance in providing important details on available services in our local community and their contact information.”
