Federal Member for Flinders, the Hon. Greg Hunt MP and members of his office will be hitting the streets of the electorate in the upcoming months as part of his mobile office initiative.
The mobile offices, which will be manned by Minister Hunt and members of his staff, will give the opportunity for locals to speak directly to the Minister and staff about the issues affecting them and their community.
“I understand that Flinders residents don’t always have the time to come and visit my office to discuss their local issues, which is why my staff and I will be bringing the office to them,” Minister Hunt said.
“My team and I will be travelling around the electorate to chat to locals about what matters to them and how we can help.
“We have already undertaken mobile offices in Grantville, Pearcedale and Hastings, which resulted in worthwhile discussions with many passionate residents who were able to tell us about the issues that directly impact them and their towns.
“This week we will also be visiting Lang Lang (Tuesday 13 February) and Somerville (Friday 16 February) with many more office locations to come.
The Minister will advertise the location of upcoming mobile office events on his website, http://www.greghunt.com.au, as well as his social media profiles.
“There will be plenty of mobile offices this year and I will be attending as many as possible, so residents should stay tuned to find out when one will be coming to an area near them,” Mr Hunt said.
“People are also more than welcome to contact my office directly at 03 5979 3188 and by email at greg.hunt.mp@aph.gov.au at any time to discuss their issues.”
