In 2016, after months of negotiation with the Victorian Government, $200,000 was committed for temporary upgrades to the Forest Drive intersection in Mount Martha.
This funding assisted with preliminary works for immediate safety measures, however these interim works have not gone far enough to alleviate the traffic congestion and reduce the risk for locals and visitors.
That is why I wrote to Premier Daniel Andrews and Minister for Roads Jaala Pulford this week to raise this issue and seek their support to see these intersections upgraded.
Now, I need your help.
This has been an issue in our community for far too long and upgrades like this cannot happen without your support and that of the local community. Now is the time to make your voice heard, sign our petition today!
Together, we can make change happen.
